Ankiros 2012

September 2012 

Raffmetal participated  to the 11th edition of Ankiros: the exposition  of international fame  dedicated to aluminium products, machines, technologies and its usage.
The event organized at “Tuyap Fair, Convention and Congress Centre” in Istanbul,  took place from 13th to 16th September 2012.
The fair brought along a huge number of visitors and resulted in a successful event holding more than 845 expositors from 39 foreign countries:  on this occasion Raffmetal offered to its guests a pleasant and reserved area, equipped with explicative stand displays  to show the innovations  and features of its aluminium procedures.

EN 44400 Die-casting alloy with high elongation values

February 2011

Considering the ever-increasing request of die-casting alloys with very good mechanical features, Raffmetal introduces itself into the market with EN 44400 alloy. This alloy is recommended for castings that need Beading and excellent corrosion strength, combined with same quality standards that mark out our products for over 30 years.
Checking particular components, EN 44400 alloy permits minimum elongations of 5 % without any heat treatments and without modification treatments Strontium based.
